Frequently Asked Questions & Answers

What are eyelash extensions?

Eyelash extensions are artificially made eyelashes that are semi-permanently glued to the natural lash. They are designed to enhance your natural lashes by making them appear longer, thicker and fuller. They will last for up to 5 weeks or with regular refills, forever.

What are refills?

A refill is a service that is required to maintain your eyelash extensions. During this process, any extensions that have grown more than 1mm are removed gently and are replaced with new extensions. You will be refilled back to your original set you started with.

Refills can be done from 1 week up to 4 weeks. Usually after 4 weeks, a new set is required.

How long does it take?

A new set of eyelash extensions usually takes no more than 1.5 hours.

The classic, hybrid and natural volume sets take 1 hour and 15 minutes.

The full volume set takes 1 hour and 30 minutes.

And the mega volume set takes 1 hour and 45 minutes.

All refills usually take up to 1 hour.

It is important to maintain your lashes well so that you can be filled up to your original set in the time allocated. We do not run overtime and into another clients appointment if you come in with less than 50% of lashes.

What kind of lashes do you use?

We use only the highest quality synthetic mink eyelashes on the market.

We do not believe in using animal hair fibres such as silk, real mink fur or human hair.

By using synthetic mink products, the shape of the curl and colour are retained throughout the duration of wear. They are more resistent to heat, water and touch than natural hair.

What kind of glue do you use?

We only use the highest quality products on the market.

The glue we use is strong medical-grade adhesive that is specifically made for eyelash extensions to last up to 5 weeks. It is low-irritant which makes it suitable for clients with a sensitivity.

It is important to note that if you are allergic or react to eyelash glue, then you are most-likely sensitive to the main ingredient, Cyanoacrylate. All lash glue contains Cyanoacrylate as it is the type of glue that is safe for the skin. Sensitive glue has Cyanoacrylate but a lower percentage of it, therefore the lashes do not last as long06
